This one began, as many good things do, with a block of cherry—warm, understated, and just fragrant enough to remind you that it once stood in sunlight. It was selected not for perfection, but for character. Because character, as you know, is everything.

From that single piece, eight chambers were carved with deliberate precision—each one sized to cradle your 18mm slides as if they had always belonged there. No rattling. No wandering. Just order… the kind that feels earned.

The proportions are intentional. Five and a half inches across, just under three deep, and two inches tall—compact enough to live anywhere, substantial enough to be noticed. The kind of piece that doesn’t ask for attention, but gets it anyway.

Turn it over and you’ll find rubber feet—quietly practical, refusing to let the piece drift or slide. Because stability, in a world like ours, is a small luxury.

And then there’s the detail most people miss at first glance: the 14mm openings, cut just shy of the edge. A subtle accommodation for pieces that extend beyond their station… because not everything worth owning fits neatly inside the lines.
